tcsh local help file

The current version of tcsh is 6.06
tcsh is the default unix shell on the Engineering Mechanics Wokrstations. It is similar to the csh program with file name completion and command line editing. All users other than root start in the tcsh shell. The enviorment of the window is set by the information in the file .tchsrc The file is a hidden file in unix (nothing before the .) Users should add this file. Default version of this file is in /etc/skel/local.tcshrc The following command line will copy this file into your directory.
cp /etc/skel/local.tcshrc .tcshrc
Some of the software pakages on the workstations requires additional information to be added to the .tcshrc file. See setup instructions on the various programs for informaiton.
